Ravana - Hell

Down underground, Hell is not a place where those who fear pain and suffering want to be. The land is fiery and volcanic, full of sharp jagged rocks that burst through the surface of the cracked rocky ground at random. Geysers billow smoke and acidic flames, burning those who dare to venture too close. The swealtering heat leaves little room for living things, such as plants, and those who cannot take the heat perish within hours. Gnarled trees that are bare and burnt are scattered about the vast underworld, while corpses that are picked clean litter the ground like maggots on putrid meat. There are many different chambers, some leading to the various layers of Hell, while others lead to sudden dropoffs into fiery pools of lava. Skeletons that are chained to the wall rattle violently as demons and their minions walk by. The moans and screams from those who have sinned fill the air day and night, and an ominous darkness hovers above the land. For some, this place is dreadful. For others, it's home sweet home.
