Height: Six feet, seven inches at the shoulder Eight feet, five inch from nose to tail
Weight: Two hundred and sixty seven pounds
Description: See him here.
At a towering six feet, seven inches Diablos stands above those who are below him. There is an omnious evil aura that surrounds him, but this is to be expected when you're the King of Darkness. His frame is more to the leaner side than muscular, but that does not mean he is a weakling. His short, rough fur is the darkest of reds while his leathery bat-like wings are a lighter shade. His sockets are eyeless, replaced with black orbs that bleed a steady flow of thick, bright red blood. Due to a disagreement with the Lich wolves, the left side of his ribcage protrudes from his flesh while his legs on the right side show for all to see. Because his back right leg is nearly all bone, he has developed a limp which he despises greatly.
History: Everyone knows how "The Devil" came to be, but there are a couple of things that have been left unsaid. Let us begin with the tale of how he obtained his bony look.
During a trip to the Realm of the Living, Diablos was ambushed by a rather foolish wolf species called Lich wolves. Why, exactly, were they foolish? Though they knew he was quite powerful, they were fairly uneducated about "The Devil" and believed he could die. Believing this, they began to draw up a plan to capture his soul and make him become one of them for their own selfish ways. When the day came for Diablos to make his yearly round on Earth, they attacked. But, as stated before, they were uneducated about "The Devil" and had no idea how powerful he really was. Having the powers that Diablos held, he was able to banish most of them to Hell instantly to serve as his own personal servants, but a few managed to peel away chunks of fur and flesh from different areas of his body, thus resulting in the exposed bones of his right legs and ribcage.
Another tale is one of love, though he would always deny it ever happening. Thousands of years ago, Diablos met her. It was during one of the first meetings ever between the leaders of Heaven and Hell. Her name was Amaterasu, and something about her struck Diablos' interest. He never had any intentions of falling in love, but then again, who ever did? He ignored it at first, but as time went on, he could not deny it. When he realized what his true feelings were, he left immediately. Love was a weakness of his and he did not want to appear weak in any way, shape, or form. Not only that, but he was the ruler of Hell and she was the ruler of Heaven; it could never work out. And so he left, unaware of the child that would be born just a short while later.
He kept the feelings he had locked away in the dark chambers of his mind, ignoring the fact that they were still there.
Family: The only family Diablos has are those who live within Hell.
Personality: When it comes to how Diablos is, there is no good side. There never has been and there never will be. Come on, he's the God of the Underworld. He despises those who are good. He believes they are weak and foolish. He enjoys causing pain for others; the more pain, the better. He walks amongst this wretched land creating fear for those who do not like the things that go bump in the night. Destroying the lives of others is what he does best. Nothing can make him happier than a good day gone bad for someone he dislikes. He shows no mercy and feels no remorse for those he has killed and will kill. It is something he enjoys immensely.
He will not hesitate to tell someone what his exact thoughts of them are. Honesty, brutal honesty, is one of his strong points. He has been told that he is heartless. He has been told that he is cruel. He has been told a lot of things that were meant to offend him, but really they just made him quite pleased. Those 'rude' names let him know that he is doing his job correctly. He respects very few living beings; very few. He knows he is not the most powerful wolf out there, but he's up there. Stuck up? He won't lie - if he thinks he's better than you, he'll show it. Yeah, this could get him into trouble - and it has - but he could really care less. He knows who he has to respect, if anyone at all. Make one wrong move and he will not hesitate to snap your pretty little head right off your shoulders.
Likes: Hell Death Torturing others Pain Acidic flames Chaos and destruction World damnation
Dislikes: His right legs Heaven Water Those who are good Love Being weak
Powers: Flames of Hell - This power can prove to be quite useful - and deadly - when used correctly. The power of fire runs through his veins naturally, but using his mind, he can conjure fire from the pits of Hell and cast them upon the world of the living. The fire, which conjures more heat than regular fire would, attaches itself to the victim he sets his eyes upon. Not only do they begin to burn alive, their skin begins to melt and fall off with a small amount of acid that has incorporated itself with the flames. The pain is unbearable and usually results in death - something he likes very well. With this power, he can also spontaneously combust into a fiery ball of many flames or become a 'fire beast', which merely means his entire body becomes engulfed in flames. The only downside to this power is - of course - water.
The Illusionist - Another power using his mind, though this one is quite powerful. As the name states, Diablos is able to create illusions of any way, shape, or form. This includes creating illusions for all of the five senses. If he wanted someone to see him in a different form, or not at all, he would create the illusion of appearing different or not appearing at all. If he wanted another wolf to get the feeling they were burning alive, he would be able to do it in a matter of seconds. It is possibly his best power and one he uses to his advantage, but if a wolf is able to see through the illusions - meaning they can detect it - this power is completely useless.
Satanic Rage - This power reveals Diablos in his true form, though he can only transform into his true form when he is full of rage, hence the name. In this form, Diablos stands at a massive ten feet, towering over all who are below him. His fur disappears and is replaced with a thick layer crimson, leathery skin. Thick, ebony black horns three feet in length stretch from his skull, gleaming brightly in the light. The pitchfork he carries holds unspeakable powers and it is unwise to fool with him at this point. There really is no way to stop him - the best thing to do is wait it out and do as he says.
The Beast - Lurking deep within the many layers of Hell is a beast only few know about; a beast that is nearly indestructible. Using his mind like he does with his other two powers, he can summon the beast from his lair and have him cause complete and total destruction. This beast, which is a large dragon made of black scales thicker than steel, has acidic flames similar to those from Diablos' first power. He can shoot these powerful flames onto the body of another living being, causing them to burn from the flames and melt from the acid. He cannot be stopped unless he is dismissed by Diablos, or if he is destroyed completely and there is only one way to do that. Although this seems like an ideal power, he can only summon the beast three times a year on the full moon.
Weaknesses: The bones that are revealed on his two right legs are a major setback, especially the back right one, causing him to limp.
Love is also another one of his weaknesses, though he will never admit to that.
Other Information: He is unable to die, but this does not mean he can't be injured.
