"Yes, a clone like the rest of you," he replied. "I do not want to turn out like the rest of you, spreading your love for the world and life all over the place like godly little saints," he stated bluntly as the corner of his eye twitched visibly. "I would rather die a thousand painful deaths than become one of you." Saying this, he grinned widely. "I'm sure you'd be willing to appease my wish if the time ever came around, would you not?" But it occurred to him she probably wouldn't. Dying a thousand times would please him, and he was sure she didn't want him to be happy; but he could have been wrong.
"That's fine," Diablos said as he once again pushed himself up in order to leave. "If you don't have the guts to say it, I don't care. My business here is done." He turned his massive frame around with an uncertainty of where he would go next, and began to limp away. "Maybe I'll see you in another hundred years, maybe not. I'm sure we'd both be happy if we never saw each other again." He was sure she would know what he meant by this, this being the first hint he had given, almost accepting that they were once a pair, but that was long ago. The past was the past and it didn't matter anymore, did it?

Amaterasu {Breaking the Silence} “Yeah, like we’re so bad.” She called after him. “You know, you guys are like clones too, and I wouldn’t want to end up like you.” She knew it wasn’t a very good comeback and after the words left her maw she decided maybe it was best if she stayed silent. They would never agree on anything, she knew that much. He would always love evil and detest goodness, and she would secretly wish that the world could be pure and not filled with so much hatred. They never really bashed heads like this, mainly because they barley saw each other, it just seemed like there was more tension.
He did not believe her. She doubted that she could lie; she wasn’t a very good at it, but still. She couldn’t tell him, not like this. She sucked in her breath and she felt her skin grow cold. Yes, she did know what he meant. “Yes…mayb-e or maybe not, we shall see…won’t we?” Her words left her feeling numb inside. She didn’t like to think about their past relationship. It had happened such a long time ago and it was short-lived, but deep down inside Amaterasu hated to admit that it never really went away. “Like you would even care if we didn’t.” She mumbled under her breath.

"Ha, Diablos barked, continuing to limp away as if what she said didn't bother him at all, and it didn't. "You always were a funny one," he called back to her, though he did not cast her a second glance. True, most of the 'bad' guys were all about the same, but it was the same way with the 'good' guys. They were all clones taking after one another in an attempt to make the world a better place. The good wanted world peace and the bad wanted nothing but anarchy. If only there was a way they could both have what they wanted, but where would the fun be if it were like that? If they could each have their way, there really wouldn't be anything left to do and everything would crumble. Maybe it was better that it was this way.
Diablos laughed quietly, now a good distance away though he still looked massive. He would not let the past bother him, not right now. Maybe if he were alone, but that hardly ever happened. "Maybe we will, maybe we won't. Truthfully, I could care less and I'm sure you feel the same way," he said, his voice ringing clear across the meadow from where he stood. It was the partial truth and a partial lie. It was hard to explain, at least for Diablos. It didn't make sense, but many things were beginning to turn out like that for him. But was it really important? Probably not. [/blockquote]

Amaterasu {Breaking the Silence}
Funny? Amaterasu had to bite her tongue at his words. He never did take anything really seriously. However his words echoed in her mind. What would live be without evil wandering around the earth? It couldn’t possibly be the way that Diablos had said it would be, everyone the same. Amaterasu knew for fact not all good wolves were alike, they still had different personalities. Even still his words irked her for some reason, as though part of her believed him. However, Amaterasu, still believed that peace could happen, right? She sighed. She wasn’t so sure anymore.
“Yes, I do feel the same.” She said to him. Their meets had never been the best, but how could they be? They were completely different from each other, but secretly Amaterasu wished they could at least be somewhat civil with each other, after all they’ve been with each other. “Well then, Diablos. I guess this is farewell, until the next unlucky time we shall cross paths again?” It wasn’t as if she never wanted to see him again, but perhaps it was for the best. Meeting like this wasn’t doing either of them any good. She pushed herself up from the ground and looked at him, a sort of sadness lingered in her eyes, before she began to make her way back toward the oak tree, before she paused.
“You know Diablos. Perhaps I shouldn’t be bringing this up. After all it happened a long time ago right?” She turned her head and looked at him. “However, there is some things you just don’t know.” She whispered, her voice trailing off into silence.

Was she ever going to shut up? "That's great and all, but you're just wasting my time with your "Well, I'm not going to tell you right now because I like to be mysterious," but it really doesn't work you know," Diablos said, growing closer to the edge of the meadow now. He was really fed up with her; why bother saying something if she had no intentions of saying it? He assumed she was just trying to get him to stick around, but he had no intentions of doing that just like she had no intentions of telling him whatever it was she had to say. "Wuss," he muttered quietly, picking up his pace, ignoring the rush of pain he had going through his right leg. 'Damn Lich wolves,' he thought silently, scowling in slight annoyance.
Diablos said nothing more as he grew closer to the distance and farther from the meadow. The sooner he got away from her, the better. He made a mental note to just leave the next time he came across her; she would probably pull the whole "There's something I need to tell you, but I'm not going to tell you," thing again the next time they came across each other, if they ever did. Maybe now he would just remain in his domain, safe from the mongrels that lived upon Earth. Why had he come up here anyway? And why, of all places, did he choose this place? The questions ran through his mind as he attempted to find an answer, but none would come. Maybe it was just a coincidence. There was no way in hell he had come here in hopes of seeing her. None at all.
