&&Madness is like gravity. All it takes is a little... push;;
A rose-red wolf walked along, her pelt almost blending in with the sand around her. It was early evening, so it was starting to cool off. Hot in the day, cold at night, that much was for sure. It had been two days in this pack now, and Kyami didn't know how much longer she'd stay, possibly a week, maybe two, at most. If she grew to like some of the members. On the other hand... there was the possibility that she didn't like any of them, and left within two more days. You know, that really seemed to happen quite often to Kyami. What was with that? Well, for one thing, wolves couldn't seem to grasp the fact that Kyami wasn't going to be disrespected by anyone, you get respect if you give respect, and that's how it worked, regaurdless of who you were. You could be the effing King, and she'd demand her respect. Oh, how ironic that was.
Kyami was pretty, but she didn't exactly think of herself like that. She was a rosy-red color, with golden clasps around her ankles, and had one on the top of her tail. Her eyes were dark blue, with golden flecks throughout them at random. She was about average in size, and obviously not one of the strongest wolves out there, small and petite would be more like it. She was a fast one, though, don't get me wrong, and her razor sharp wit made up for it, too. Though she was pretty on the outside, it was the rest of her that most couldn't stand to be around. Kyami wasn't evil, but she wasn't good, and she was curious and rude and could never sit still. Kyami probably had some sort of wolf ADD, to be honest.
Kyami stopped for a minute, looking up at the sky, which was starting to mellow down and the clouds were turning different colors in the distance. Realizing she was thirsty, she looked around for a lake or pond or something. She walked a little ways further, and once over a small hill of sand, saw it; a clear pool of water with a few trees surrounding it. The best part? No other animals. She made her way over, and dipped her maw into the cool water, and could hear crickets now, from the small amount of vegetation that there was.
After drinking her fill, Kyami layed herself down under a tree next to the pond, feeling content here. Deserts were pretty much her home.

Shruikan [Stalking in Darkness]
Everything was quiet in the air, no distress echoed in his ears. That is the way he liked it. The large wolf maneuvered through the desert, the sand whipped up and choked up the oxygen in the air, but he seemed not to mind. He snorted as he pinned his ears flat against his head. The sun shone down brightly that he had to squint his eyes to see what lay in front of him. It rarely got cool in these wasted lands, but he did not seem to mind. It was his kingdom, and he was used to the heat, in fact he preferred it to cold weather. His ears twitched and he twisted his head around when he thought he saw something, but all he saw was miles of deserted land.
The immense wolf was unlike anyone upon earth. His pelt was a dirty white from all the sand. Three red strips stretched across his back. He also had some red on his paws and a thick blood red color around his neck. A chain on his back paw clicked with the slightest movement. Scars were visible across his body from the years. He stood tall with pride, his tail arched across his back and he held his head with dignity. He was no ordinary wolf. He was Shruikan Nightfire, Root of all Evil, and the brother of Samael one of the great Gods that roamed the earth. Shruikan however wasn’t really a god, he was more on Earth to make sure that evil or good didn’t get out of balance.
Shruikan kept on walking until his dark eyes soon lingered upon the water hole not to far away. He gradually dragged himself toward it and lowered his head to take a drink. The desert was dry and this was one of the few water holes that were in the area, he was surprised he didn’t see a flock of dry-throated animals scurrying to get least a gulp of water. The water was drying up, the last time it had rained was a month ago, and it was more of a light drizzle. Shruikan could go days without drinking or eating. The longest he went was two weeks before he almost past out. He may be immortal, but even he needed his nutrition’s, otherwise he would die. Shruikan was an important aspect to life, even if most did not realize it. Before Shruikan died, he needed to pick a successor to take his place, a son or daughter. Shruikan had numerous children, he was a big hit with the ladies, but Shruikan planned to live forever.

&&Right now they're building a coffin your size;;
Kyami lifted her head, hearing the sound of another right nearby. Ugh, right when she was falling asleep, too. Wonderful, eh? She took in the appearance of the wolf quickly, blue eyes scanning him over. Eh, he was kind of creepy, but very very tall, she noted. Much bigger than she was, and he'd be able to snap her in half in a second. Oh well, though. This was where the whole, 'I don't listen to anyone nor do I make sense' kind of thing came in.
She waited for a moment, wondering if he'd be decent enough to offer a greeting or not. Apparently, not. Maybe he hadn't even noticed her, which was also likely, considering she had frankly been quite quiet the whole time, and sitting under a shady tree. Well, maybe she wasn't exactly 'well-behaived' but she knew her proper manners... to a point, anyways. So, without a word, Kyami sat up, waiting for the male to finish his drink, well, actually she didn't, she just spoke anyways. "Er, hello." She finally said, not realizing that this was, indeed, her King.
However, even if she did know this, Kyami was the type who probably wouldn't have cared. Kyami, if you noticed, wasn't scared easily, nor was she intimidated. Again, the female had no idea at all what 'common sense' meant. After all, he didn't exactly look friendly, persay.

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
A voice shattered the silence. Shruikan lifted his head slightly, water dripped from his maw as he turned and looked at the female who dared to speak to him. He ran his tongue over his fangs, but he did not speak. Shruikan really didn’t care how she spoke to him, so long as she showed him a strand of respect. Shruikan, of course would never get tired of some whom drooled wherever he walked, hell if he told them to kill themselves they would do it in a heartbeat, however once in a while it was nice to get away from he. He cleared his throat as he took a step backwards.
“Hello,” He said in a strong and sturdy voice. His posture did not break. His tail flickered behind him as he slightly narrowed his eyes. He could not recall if she was part of his kingdom or not. Shruikan only remembered those he seen often, and he wasn’t sure if he had seen her before, but even if he did – he did not care, “is there something you want?” He asked straight up. No point in beating around the bush. He wanted to make sure if there was something she wanted or if she just intended to be somewhat friendly – because she looked like a wolf who could careless of what others thought of her and she really didn’t see the need to be friendly to others.

&&I'm one of those girls, nothin' but trouble;;
Kyami stood up silently, a pose that held her dignity, and pride, and her blue eyes were restless as usual. Her tail swayed lightly from side to side, as she could never stay completely still for more than a few minutes, unless she was asleep. She stood silently for a moment, pondering the male. Did she want something? What kind of a question was that? So now, to make friendly conversation, you had to want something? Jeesh, what was the world coming to? Nothing good, that was for sure. Before she spoke, she thought about what she was going to say, as she was trying to get in the habit of doing, it would make for better conversation, after all.
"Now, out of curiousity, what would make you think that I wanted something?" Kyami asked, ears tilting up slightly. "Trust me, if I had wanted something, I'd have let you know straight up. This time, perhaps I was just being friendly." Kyami explained, "I don't know about you, but I was raised so that when others approach, it's expected to give a greeting, you know." So, Kyami didn't exactly have the whole 'nice' thing down pact yet, but she was getting there... wasn't she? "I may as well continue mine, I suppose." She gathered her thoughts again, before speaking. "My name is Kyami Zappa, and before you ask, yes, I am a part of this Kingdom." Then, thinking to herself, added, 'For the moment, anyways.' Her blue eyes stayed at their natural state, wild and restless, curious, too. "Who're you?"

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
“No reason,” he said with a shrug of his shoulders, the tone in his voice not changing, “I just decided it was better to ask upfront instead of beating around the bush.” Plus Shruikan was used to wolves walking up to him and expecting something out of him. After awhile it did get quite annoying. Shruikan pulled back his jaws and laughed slightly at his words. “Raised up? Well, I suppose that would work if you had parents. However, I never had parents, I’ve always been.” Shruikan truly did find her statement quite amusing. Shruikan never worried about having parents, he believed them to be unnecessary, even though he himself was a parent – but he wasn’t the ‘father figure’
As she stated her name and that she was in the kingdom – which would have been one of his questions, luckily they got that out of a way. He nodded his head. “Name’s Shruikan, King of this Kingdom.” He said the last part, because he had a hunch that she had no idea who he was. He told her just incase she decided to be too rude, Shruikan wouldn’t tolerant that and decided just to give her a warning whom she was messing with.

&&I may be ugly, but they sure love to stare;;
"Ah, so I take it you're immortal then." Kyami replied, she herself was only four, and not immortal. "Well then I guess you wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about." She stated, half-grinning, and yet the grin held minium humor, as she didn't smile too often anyways. Why do it unless you meant it? Personally, Kyami had always thought that those wolves who had smiling and laughing problems were creepy, and she prefered not to associate with them. "Well, yeah. My parents are probably either dead or fairly old, but I really could care less about them. So it doesn't matter anyways now." Well, at least friendly greetings had stuck. Everything else had just seemed to go in one ear and out the other with her.
"Oh, you're the King?" Kyami asked, not exactly shocked, since he presented himself the way he did, but a little surprised. She wasn't going to apologize for any previous behaivor, she had always thought that being treated like royalty all the time would get a little old anyways. "Well, er, sorry but I'm not gonna suck up to you because of it, but I mean... I'll try to be respectful." She said, which was a lie, well, the last part was a lie, she wouldn't try, she'd just assume that's what she was doing. Respect was earned when you were Kyami, that's just the way it had always worked. Then again, maybe this time she'd try because having her head ripped off didn't exactly sound pleasent, if you know what I mean.

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
“Immortal?” Shruikan asked her with a smirk. “Then again, how can someone be immortal if they were never born? I’m not like those fucking immortal wolves walking around thinking they are all that.” He snorted with a shake of his head. “So eh, your not immortal? Ah well, not really a big deal” He said with not a hint of sarcasm. Sometimes he wish he could die so he didn’t have to take some wolves shit, however he never wanted to die. If he died then, where would he go? He was not good yet he wasn’t evil. There was no place for him in either heaven or hell.
“I did not tell you I was king, so you had to act like some of the other idiots around here.” Shruikan told him. “However, I’m not asking respect. I demand it. And no, it’s not because I’m king.” He told her in a serious tone as he looked at her. “It is because whom I am. Not the role I have now.” He wanted to make sure she understood that. He made sure that others did not respect him because he was king, but because he was on the same levels as the Gods themselves.

&&I n d e p e n d e n t do you know what that means;;
Kyami shrugged, "Honestly I don't see the big deal." She stated, reffering to immortality. "I mean, honestly I think it'd get old, ya'know? I don't know what's gonna happen to me when I die, because I'm not god, but I'm not evil. So who knows." She looked off into the distance, pondering it. Well, there was always that possibility that she was immortal, since her mother was a geenie, and so was her sister. Kyami, however, never thought of herself as one, and to this day is not. So far as she knows. Who knew, she was only four, there was always the possibility she could be, she didn't actually know, and if she lived to be a gazillion years old she'd know, but for now, she really couldn't give a shiit.
"Which is why I said I'll try. Look, I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not exactly the... most respectful wolf in the world." Kyami replied, bringing her gaze back to meet his, and it was being serious. "Respect is one of the two things that I don't give out, and it's not that I don't want to, I just can't." She stated, being serious. "Now listen. I may not be a god or queen or whatever, but I do carry myself with pride. I know I have to earn my respect, and inturn I'll respect you." Kyami said, expecting to be attakced or something now. "Besides, you probably won't see much more of me." Kyami assured him, her tone light again, eyes wandering up to the sky. "After all, I never stay in one place for too long. I won't be that much of a problem."

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
“It might not matter if you are immortal or not.” Shruikan said with a shrug of his shoulders. “I really don’t give a shit. It was not my choice to be this way. Then again,” a smirk tugged at the edges of his maw, “I do enjoy it sometimes. Because no matter how crappy things get, to me they won’t last a long time. A hundred years to me feels like a day.” Shruikan told her. He was not sure if he had a chance to give it up, if he would. It got annoying sometimes, yes, but over all he enjoyed what he did.
“I’m just saying, that I don’t take crap from no one, and if I’m not mistaking your not someone either.” Shruikan told her. “However, I expect that respect should be given were it deserves. I’m not a God, you are mistaking. I’m the Root of all Evil. I keep the balance between good and evil. When it is out of balance. I put it back.” Shruikan told her with a snort. “I respect those who respect me.” He told her He turned and looked away from her, looking around his homeland. Shruikan liked being king, but he knew it could not last forever. It could last for a hundred years, if he was lucky, even longer if he was really lucky. He would not want to be king forever. Like her he liked to move from place to place, however since he could live forever, his time frames were much longer then hers.

&&Miss. Unafraid, Miss. Out of my way, Miss. Never gonna let a man interefere;;
"I find that hard to believe, if you don't mind my saying, sir." She put a little emphasis on the word sir, considering it was 'respectful.' And what else had been in that word? A hint of sarcasm? No, of course not. Now she had forgotten about the immortality thing, and was speaking on the whole respect subject. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me you don't exactly seem to be the type of fellow who'd give out respect to anyone who gives it to you. I mean, come on, could you really respsect all those who adore you and love you and worship you every second of every day?" She challenged, probably not the smartest thing to say to 'The Root of all Evil' but hey, what goes around comes around, and Kyami didn't have much on the whole common sense thing, in case you hadn't got that one yet.
"I mean, I'm probably wrong, since I'm no one to most around me, but respect shouldn't just be handed out to those who respect you. What is that but a lie? Maybe it works that way for you, but not for me. Respect needs to be earned, regardless of who it is." She stated, shrugging lightly. It was just the way she felt on the subject, and yeah, she'd probably be killed in a few seconds, but would he really go that low? He could live forever, would it really satisfy him to just go prance around killing those who couldn't live forever? If she was immortal (which, she was not, she had extended life, one thousand years, to be exact. She didn't know this though), she'd use it to do something... not destructive, at any rate.

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
“I doubt you quite understand my meaning.” Shruikan said with narrowed eyes. To him everything he did was at some degree different then mortal wolves. He snorted as he shook his head at her words. Hah. Like he would equally respect someone who worshiped the ground he walked on. He couldn’t believe she said those words. He narrowed his eyes as he glared at her. “I don’t throw out respect to everyone who shows me some decency. Fuck. My respect means: I don’t kill them, or worst.” Shruikan said with a cruel and cold laugh that echoed through the land. “I only truly respect a few in this world, and I still don’t really care for them.” He said to her.
Shruikan sighed deeply. “It does not matter.” He said as he glared at her for a moment, before he spoke again. “You think you are so tough, eh? Think that you’re so fucking great. Well, I’ve met a love of wolves with that attitude, and yeah I know I have that attitude too, but there is a different. I am great.” He said as he took a few steps closer to her. “You will die, and no one will remember your name. Even if I die today, my title will live on…forever.” He whispered to her in a chilling voice as he laughed slightly.

&&Tell me I'm a bad man, kick me like a stray;;
"Did I ever say that I was great? I don't think I've spoken those words since you met me." Kyami said, her face and voice staying as calm, and she kept her ground even as he did come closer, she wasn't scared, for some reason she felt that she wasn't going to die. Truth was, there was only one way to kill a geenie, or, half geenie in her case. Like her powers, killing a geenie had rules. There could be no moon in the sky, and she had to be asleep. Otherwise, you could fucck her up, beat her, but she'd be able to fix herself, magic, remember? "No, I don't think I'm great. I don't know my limits. I never have, and I doubt I ever will. You see, Shruikan, I'm not great, I own up to that, too. I'm nothing special, I know that. I don't know when to stop, and that doesn't bother me." A smirk played lightly at the edge of her maw, but she stopped it, as that would probably piss him off further.
Her blue eyes narrowed slightly as her ears quickly pinned back. She wasn't so retarded as to pick a fight with him, she'd die. If it came down to that, she'd simply evaporate, and then revaporate somewhere else, then high-tail it out of this pack's land. Which is exactly what she planned to do anyways as soon as she was done. The King was an asshole, and she couldn't live under the rule of an asshole. "Some aren't meant to be remembered." Kyami replied next in a low tone, her eyes still narrowed. "But I mean, would it really be that exciting to kill one of the only wolves to stand up to you?" She asked now, ears perking up again and eyes wide as she looked up at the sky, now sitting right down as if he wouldn't hurt her, which he probably would. "Really now, come on, you can't have that many females that want absolutely nothing to do with you. In fact, I think as soon as I can I'll leave anyways and you'll never see or hear from me again." She was silent for a moment, before looking back over with sarcasm in her eyes and a smirk on her maw, "Since no one will remember me."

Shruikan [Stalking in Silence]
“I never said you were fucking great, now did I?” Shruikan said with a snort. “Don’t say things which are not true. It can’t get you in trouble.” He said as he turned and looked away from her. His voice was calm and sincere, he was not one to get mad, no matter how harsh his word seem – rarely does he lose his temper, and if he does, you better watch out. He shifted his weight as he dug his claws into the ground. Shruikan never worried about anything. He never had too, when your immortal, nothing last forever. He knows that. What ever happens to him, it will not be the end of his life. Shruikan began to get lost in his thoughts before the female’s voice brought him back to reality. He shook his head as he twisted his head back around and looked at her.
“I don’t kill for sport.” Was one of the first things he said with narrowed eyes, he couldn’t even if he wanted too. After all he was the one who had to keep good and evil in balance, if he went on a killing spree, he himself would be messing up the balance. A smirk tugged across his maw as she spoke. “No, not many females want nothing to do with me. Most, certainly want something to do with me.” He said with a devilish gleam in his eyes.

&&Why kiss the feet of the people who kick you? (When you can be anything that you want to?);;
Kyami rolled her eyes, standing up, her tail swishing lightly back and fourth. "Don't twist my words around." She stated, "let me speak slower, maybe you'll understand what I'm saying." She added, a hint of sarcasm in her tone before her blue eyes narrowed slightly. "You said you thought that I called myself fucking great, when, in truth, I never said such thing." She snorted, "I may not be great, but truly I'm not that retarded." She stated, almost letting out a humorless laugh but instead smirking heavily, as if she knew something he didn't, which wasn't likely, but whatever. She knew how to treat others, and in her opinion, Shruikan didn't.
"Pft, well I'll gladly exclude myself from those females." Kyami stated, rolling her eyes again. 'Why are females so stupid and degrating?' She wondered to herself. "Really, I can probably happily live the rest of my mortal life and not have a second thought about you after this." Which was true, Kyami was the type of girl with some odd chemicals that made others fall in love, but she was the kind to run away, make the male dig himself a grave. No, maybe she wasn't the nicest at times, but who needed love?
