His post for tonight was all around the Taika desert, seeing as there was a shortage of knights, Roke was the only one on patrole. Though he has been in the kingdome for his entire life, he wasn't very respected, seeing as his late mother was an outsider, and his popular father had died two months ago. He had no one to protect him. It was asthough he was a loner.
Dispite being looked down upon, he still held relaxed pride. He no longer cared, realy, but always had a smile on his face. the smile, was that of thanks. Thanks for being alive and well, and not being a loner out in the world with no one to depend on.
He stopped a moment, while continueing to humm a tune he created, to adgust his hat to cover his eyes and hair once again. His hat was made of an intresting, tick king of matirial tat alowed him to see fairly through. He didn't have that good of sight anyways, haveing his eyes scared a while back.They where puer white, even the veins that scored the sides. He had good reson to hide them. His black, scene style hair also hid his mangled eyes. Sometimes he let it fall from his hat if it was too hot out, but fall had cooled the desert nights emensly. A shiver ran up Rokes spine, makeing his fur stand on end before he continued his walk in the merciless night.

&&He wears his heart saftey-pinned to his backpack;;
Ah, the night. It was a cooler one, which was nice. It was good to know that Mother Nature was finally letting fall weather come in his area in the nighttime, it would never come during the day, after all. The groud was still hot, considering the sun had been there all day to bake the earth, but it wasn't painful to walk on, at any rate. The land was flat, since there weren't many dunes in the Taika desert, so Cobin could see what was happening everywhere in his Kingdom. To all four sides, he could see thick forests, they were dangerous, and it held ghost stories, mysteries, but Cobin had traveled through them, off the paths, just to see more than once, but nothing was ever there, they were fine. Well... mostly. The Myr Forest was one of the only things that stopped invaders, for the Taika Lands were more plentiful than one would think, and to get to their heart you had to travel through the forests.
The wolf himself, Cobin Asoka, was one that everyone knew. He was the King of the Taika Kingdom, and the other packs in the Western Kingdom. He demaned his respect from all, and those in his kingdom and packs so the... nicer side of him, to say the least. After all, even the most evil of wolves had soft sides, didn't they? Cobin was not only a ruler, but he was a sight to see. He was five feet tall from his paw to his ear, and his pelt was crimson red, and it held the same shine and fluff as his mother's, which was weird, but whatever. His eyes were yellowish green, with a dark orange rim. Cobin was almost two hundred pounds, so when you met him, it was usually best not to mess with him, since there was no visible fat on him at all. Mmhm, his father was the God of the Underworld, and his Mother was Mother Earth. Err, screwed up family? You bet. The worst part? He didn't know either of his parents.
Cobin turned to walk again, nothing in particular on his mind, probably a pack meeting soon, considering he needed more Knights in his Kingdom, and there were plenty of peasents. More than enough, really. Oh well, then there was that annoying fact that he needed more help. No, not a Queen, he'd been ruling for a hundred years without one of those, but maybe a Court, for his help. Well, at any rate, he'd be on the lookout for loyal Knights, and possibly a peasent or two, but that wasn't likely, only the best would be in his Court, and he decided that maybe in the future he'd be accepting some help into his reign. After all, not even the most powerful Kingdoms stayed up forever, and he wanted the most powerful of them all before his failed, and if that meant that he'd need to accept help, that's what it meant.
Coming upon one of his Knights, he looked at the way he, well, looked. Interesting, really... Not exactly... normal. Snorting quietly, he approached, deciding it would be best to offer a greeting, since they were the only two for miles. "Evening." He stated simply, stopping, since he did expect a return greeting. It was obvious that Cobin was bigger, but that didn't necessairly bother him, and honestly, it was a good thing. It was rare to find a wolf bigger than he, and if he did it'd probably have to be a god or something, hah. That was a dumb idea, he didn't believe in gods anyways. Which was stupid... considering he was the God of Death and didn't even know it. Oh well, he'd find out eventually, right? Maybe once he found out that, and that his parents were both gods, not only gods, but the Head Gods, he'd believe it.
