The Dream Realm was a sight to be seen, and that evening the wolf herself was sitting on a cloud, waiting for wolves to sleep. The female's golden eyes blended nicely with their surroundings, for the most part. The colorings of the place were mostly yellow and golden, and she was on the clouds, harmless tornadoes formed and stars and fire swirling within their silvery clear depths. All around were mountain peeks, sticking out from the tops, occasinoally waterfalls coming from nowhere, and then there was always your average thunderstorm in the distance. These were all comments occurances in the Dream Realm, things that were expected to happen, and it would seem boring if they didn't.
No, Marynn was not exactly your normal wolf. She was a royal pruple color, her pelt soft and shiny, always clean. Throughout it there were golden streaks that ran randomly throughout it. Literally, they went up and down her pelt, in a never-ending motion. Her eyes were golden, with purple rims and flecks, kind, mostly, but there was an edge that said, "Don't mess with me, because I can hurt you." The female was not a wolf, she was what they called a Nightmare. Why? She lived in the dreams of other wolves, but was more real than one would ever know. She could kill, she could fall in love, it was all possible, but none of it was likely. She could not have a wolf form in the world, it wasn't possible. Well, it was, but Marynn didn't like the real world enough to care too much.
Marynn came down from her clouds and onto the ground, it was a vast grassland, but the grass was blue, navy blue. It was taller than her, and in a moment it was not again. She could already see the dozens of wolven spirits, scattered about and sleeping, but did not see the one that called to her yet tonight. She would know when she saw the body, that was for sure. Yes, to communicate with Marynn, one had to be sleeping. By now, it was probably almost midnight, the time when most wolves slept. Who knew, though, maybe her's would not sleep until morning. It was known to happen, and she coudl wait.
After all, she was one of the only two Illeria, or, Nightmares left on Earth, why not wear her title with dignity?

The kings guard. A suitable place for Rokai, or at least to him. He had always been someone to protect others, even if it was a job. He thought about this as he trotted to the castle grounds, satisfied with his day off. He knew he stayed out later than he should have, but what could he say? "I was just enjoying it, probably wont get another day off like this for a while..." He replied to himself.
The wolf entered the castle, his eyes tracing the path he was following. Rokais jaws parted in a yawn. "Shouldve came back earlier, I would have got more sleep. Oh well." He moved throughout the castle hallways, beginning to walk faster. He finally came to his room, somewhere he could relax without the noisy snoring of the other wolves. "I deserve my own space, I am the kings guard after all." He chuckled to himself.
Rokai paused once he made it somewhat in the room, lowering his head as if in a bow. The sword and its sheath slid from his back, landing on the ground. He nudged it closer to his bed, just a spot on the ground near the end of the room. It was warmest there. He lied down, adjusting himself until he found a comfortable spot. He then yawned again, gently setting his head on his paws. He slowly began to doze off, unknowing he was to be a victim of a series of nightmares. [/blockquote] OOC: Sorry its so horrible... Im really slow today :/

&&I scream for some silence;;
Marynn was getting bored, about to accept the fact that she simply couldn't find the wolf that was hers for the night, until she suddenly saw the soul. It was a few yards off, in the midst of the grassy field, and unlike all the others, a faint outline of a brighter color surrounded him. Who it was, she didn't know, she hadn't seen him before. She began to enter his mind, to seep through just enough to find out who he was. 'His name is Rokai... he is a guard for the Taika Kingdom, under King Cobin's rule.' That was all she needed to know; a Knight for a King, that was enough to give her hundreds of ideas for a nice setting. She approached the soul, and then stood directly on top of it, sinking into the ground, the way she entered their dreams.
Suddenly, the settings changed. Marynn was standing in the back corner of a Dark Dungeon in an old castle, and outside it was storming like never before. Her body was glowing a faint purple color, the gold lines around it running only slightly faster than normal, and her eyes were the same purple as before, seductive and curious. Rokai would be upstairs somewhere now, and she closed her eyes picturing it. Yes, there he was, sleeping as usual, and Marynn knew that he'd need a little help to be led into a creepy old dungeon, in the back cell, in the middle of a storm. Just a dream, but scary as hell, that much she was sure of.
Duplicating herself, she changed the second her into a form of one of the castle's guards, a large whie male with green eyes. While one form of her stayed downstairs, the other headed upstairs, seemingly in a panic. Thundering into Rokai's room, he said, "Rokai! Wake up! This is an emergency! Something's invaded the castle, it's been tracked to the downstairs dungeon, but they're everywhere now, and Lord knows if they can be stopped. Master Cobin is missing, and you and I are the last gua--" A scream ruptured in his throat, for 'the things' that he had been talking about were attacking the white male. They dragged him off to the dungeon, after he yelled, "Help! Help!" repeatedly. A nightmare, indeed.
After he was back down, Marynn stood up, eyeing her little monsters with a soft grin. "Good job, my pets. Now run, hurry, or he'll find you." Of course, this was all a dream, no need for panic when you were the one creating it. Marynn's creatures ran to all different cells, black bodies hidden in the shadows. The white body vanished back into Marynn, and she was whole again. She changed her form into a giant, red wolf with glowing yellow eyes, the snake-like patterns changing to black. She was now easily seven feet tall sitting down, and she slunk back into a corner. She just wanted to see the look on Rokai's face, give 'im a scare, then she'd explain her myth to him, all about the Illeria... maybe.
...Or maybe, if she didn't like him, she'd kill him. After all, dreams were harmless, but Nightmares were not.

OOC: Rokai is part of Riakkus kingdom Thats why were in Sveta xD Rokai fell asleep quickly, finding himself more tired than he had expected. For a little while, he was peacefully sitting in a meadow, gazing lovingly at a female wolf. She seemed to dazzle in the bright sunlight, and he was slowly beginning to inch closer to her. Suddenly, everything went black. Rokai looked around frantically, only to be gulped into a dark cloud of nightmares.
The male wolfs eyes flew open just as the white wolf came to his room. He stood as he was talking. "Hold on, tell me from the be-" The wolf was beng dragged down the halls, screeching for help. "What the hell is going on?!" For a moment, Rokai hesitated, but then darted after the wolf. "Hey! Where are you?!" He yelled as he ran through the darkness of the halls, his paws stinging from the rough stone. "Dammit! Where did he go?" Rokai came to a stop, lowering his head to the ground and sniffing. "That way!" He turned sharply and ran down the way, towards the dungeon.
He suddenly stopped when he came into the room, horrified at what he found. Before him stood a huge red wolf, its eyes a yellow menecing color. "What... The... Hell?!" He spoke under his breath, nearly scared stiff by the sudden appearance of this wolf. "What are you doing, Rokai?! Your the kings guard! No time to be scared!" Rokai turned his head towards his back to grab his sword but... "Oh no! I forgot my sword!" He swiftly turned his head back to the large wolf, at loss for what he would do without his sword. Maybe he could turn and run back to his room to get his sword... Hard luck of that happening. [/blockquote]

After a malicious laugh, the whole room began to swirl and suddenly there was nothing, and then, everything. The two wolves, Marynn still in her red wolf form, were standing at the top of a large hill, over-looking a forest and when one looked up, they'd see a huge sky filled with diamond-like stars and a huge full moon. Everything, however, seemed to have a purple glow to it, like someone were looking at the scene through a purple plastic-wrap. Marynn had her back turned to Rokai as she looked out over the forest, it seemed to never end, this was just another place in the Dream World. The Forever Forest, it would never die, nor would it ever end. It was older than time itself, and older than the mortals' gods. Most things here were, this was, after all, a different world.
"Congratulations, Rokai, you've come face to face with your first Illeria." Marynn stated formally, and suddenly the wolf seemed to evaporate into nothing but black swirling dust, and then she was herself again, the purple and golden wolf, smaller than Rokai now, but no doubt more powerful. At least, in this world. This was, after all, her world. And in this world, there were no rules, no limits, nothing. "You're confused, that much is obvious." Marynn stated, a light smile tugging at the corners of her maw. "Let me explain, m'dear." She looked up to the sky, that seemed so far away, and yet so close, as if you could touch it. Everything was like this, confusing but beautiful, much more exciting than the real world.
"Longer than man or wolf has existed, the Dream Realm has been alive. I, Rokai, am an Ilerian, or, more commonly known as a Nightmare. We were ghost stories for pups, perhaps you've heard of me?" She let the sarcastic tone of that statement get the better of her when she spoke, pausing for a moment before continuing. "You're dreaming right now, but you may as well be awake. I'm as real as any other, but with me here you can enter my world, see my surroundings, you know, that junk. That also means I could kill you, befriend you, vice versa. This world is simply another dimension that most don't put into play, and most wolves have another half living here." She said, looking back over at him, tail swishing gently back and fourth in the grass she was standing in. "I, however, am one of the only few left of my kind, this is my world. I'm not a part of yours."
She paused for a moment, "Now, for proper introductions. I, Rokai, am Marynn Illeria, a Nightmare, or a Dream, if that's what this turns out to be for you. I'm timeless, too, much older than even several of the gods. Now, my boy, it's your turn. Tell me something interesting." She prompted, but doubted that he could tell her anything interesting. He was, after all, only wolf. Who knew, though, maybe he'd prove her wrong. ...Maybe not.

Rokai was baffled when the room suddenly changed into a beautiful forest. "Whats going on?" He stared at the forest as the wolf spoke. When she said the name 'Illeria,' he turned his head back to her. "I... Illeria?" Yes, he had heard of that name. But where? Suddenly, the wolf began to change... Into a smaller creature, more ghost-like. "Whats going on?" He demanded, but she seemed to know what he was thinking and began to explain.
The black wolf listened as the Illeria spoke. "Ghost stories? So thats where ive heard of an Illeria from..." He thought, turning his attention back to her finish speaking. Now he was really confused. "Wait... So im dreaming..." He turned back to the forest. "Thats why this place seems so... Unreal." He murmured, listening to her as she introduced herself.
"Marynn, huh? Nice name..." He wasnt as confused or astonished as he was before, getting to know this Illeria better. "Something... Interesting?" He repeated. "Why would she want to know something interesting from me?" He sat down on the soft grass, sighing. "Well... What is there to say? Youve been to our world, havnt you? Shouldnt you know everything 'interesting' there is to know already?" He replied blankly. [/blockquote]

&&She's a natural disaster;;
"Yes, Rokai, you're dreaming. No mortal wolf could pull this off." She chuckled, sitting herself down in the grass, a few yards away from him. Hearing his next statement, she shook her head. "Oh no, I haven't. I've only heard about it. As most don't see my world, I can't see yours. I don't live on Earth, in Illyrian, like most do. This is my entire world, I'm confined to the Dream Realm." She explained, golden eyes filled with entertainment, like that of a pup. There was no way to describe her, she wasn't good, she wasn't bad, she was straight down the middle, it all depended on whether or not she liked you. Even if she scared half of her, hmm, "victoms" shiitless, and they usually ended up hating her.
"Oh, sorry for the awful scare." She giggled, "I just love to see the reactions I get. It gets boring here, you know." She stated, and then behind them the forest suddenly shrunk down into a desert-like surrounding, but their hill was still exactly the same. The grains of sand were, instead of brown or white, were now blue, like an ocean, and constantly moving. Since these were normal occurances to Marynn, it hadn't occured to her that Rokai could end up confused... again. No matter, if he was, he'd just have to ask. Marynn had a good feeling about Rokai, she didn't want to hurt this one. That meant making sure he woke up at the right time, too. Only once did she forget to wake the wolf up... that was not a pleasent expierence.

Rokai listened to her words as the landscape changed again. Even though he was confused again, he decided not to ask her about it. She would probably just say something like 'Its just how this world works.' He stood, slightly sinking in the blue, ocean-like sand. It had a strange feeling to it... Rokai looked back at Marynn. He hadnt noticed how beautiful she looked.
"Oh... I see..." He said simply, as if he werent even talking to her. He gazed up at the sky. It was so smilar to his sky, the sky he was used to... But it was also very different.
"This place feels just like home, but it also feels like a place ive never been too. Its a very weird feeling..." He spoke softly, looking at the blue sands and lifting his paw from its sucking motion. He gently began to run his paw across the surface, tossing up some here and there. For a few moments, he forgot Marynn waas even watching him as he played with the sand. His head snapped back to her once he heard her again.
"Er... Sorry. Just curious." He said casually, looking across the desert. "Hey... Do you think you could somehow show me around more? I want to see more of this Dream Realm. If its all about dreams, then it would have everything a wolf could wish for." Although, Rokai knew he wouldnt find what he was looking for, even if it were a dream.
